My Part

For senior seminar we're doing a collaboration project, so my group decided to design the school buildings, I chose the Arts and Letters and this is what I came up with.

After hours of learning software and trying different things out, I finally started to put things together.

Hey everyone I just found out 1 or more of my photography photos is getting published in the design book the school is making on blurb.com!

Update

Started working on the final project for advanced drawing, now I have to figure out what to do for my final project for digital photography.

Proposal

The final project is among us, and Im working out ideas on how I want to incorporate text this time instead of a image.  I want to continue with the car culture and this time Im researching blogs and finding words to describe the cars Im so infatuated with.  What I plan to do is translate these words to describe the cars into the native language that the cars are created in.  For example if the car is made in Italy then the words to describe the car will be in Italian.  Right now Im thinking I want to do this on Illustrator and have them printed out at Kinkos.  Im also thinking I could have the text create an image or mimic the curves and shapes of the cars.

Thought of the Day

Advanced Drawing is totally awesome! O btw entered the project 2 and part of the project 1 piece in the student juried show. I was gonna do a second piece to match the grasshopper concept, so if it gets into the show I'll do another one :)

Im excited to see how this project comes out. Im using the head light theme, and applying them to grass hoppers. Confused hmm yeah I know lol, pics coming soon of progress.

Obsessed

I was challenged to find something I'm obsessed about and turn it into a drawing.  With that being said, cars was the first thing that came to mind.  So I took my 4 fav cars, and the question do headlights still look like headlights without the actual car frame around them?
